HOUNDED
For my final year of university we were tasked to identify a problem space in the world and create a suitable product or design that would hypothetically solve that problem. My chosen problem statement was:
The use of fireworks causes extreme psychological distress and anxiety to dogs which results in long-term mental and physical health issues.
This was a very sensitive and personal issue to me so I really wanted to do the research and hone in on the problem to produce an appropriate solution. For my solution, I decided to design a highly developed sound sensitivity training app where you can train up your dog to handle any noise. Upon the sign up process, you will enter your dog's details including their breed and sound sensitivity symptoms.
Once complete, the app will personalise and customise the lessons accordingly with the dog's level and severity of their sensitivity. The app will continuously log your progress with a journal feature so that you can keep on top of your pets training. Frequent use of the app with allow dogs to work their way up to having no fear responses to loud noises and even fireworks. The brand deliverables for this project were initial branding pieces like logos, billboards and social media templates. I also designed a working prototype in Adobe XD making this a UX/UI project. I am really proud of this project so I hope you enjoy flicking through!
