AKA LOW - DREAM ON / WHO WE ARE
AKA Low is an incredible upcoming artist specialising in modern hip/hop music and is also the host of a popular radio show, Low Notes. His most recent accomplishment is the successful release of his new double single, Dream On / Who We Are. While working on these tracks he contacted me asking for my help designing his album art cover.
So we then began working and collaborating on this cover together. Over several exhausting weeks, we finally landed on a final product and I was super happy with the result. We also created multiple variations so that we could ensure a strong release with lots of options for my client to work with.
This project was incredible for my growth as a designer. It was my first ever album cover design and also my first piece of experience designing within the music industry. It was interesting to do and was a change of pace from what I usually work on in terms of both the designing stages of the cover and the research stages. I hope you enjoy flicking through!

I also took it upon myself to design additional material and environmental mockups to ensure my client had enough imagery to successfully promote his music release.
